DIAL-IN TOUR

On the occasion of the anniversary, we shed light on the displacement and expulsion of around 14 million Germans from the eastern Reich and eastern European settlement areas. They had to leave their homes under extreme conditions. We will take you on a tour of the exhibition by phone and describe selected objects that illustrate the fates of individuals and families. It is about the experiences of displacement and expulsion and the path into an uncertain future.

This time, the focus is on our special exhibition ‘The Trek’, which in particular deals with Hanns Tschira's photographic documentation of the flight from the Silesian village of Lübchen.
