Textile Memories – Creating Together - With Artist Varvara Keidan Shavrova

Following an introduction to the exhibition Textile Memories by Varvara Keidan Shavrova, we will create our own textile artworks inspired by personal stories and objects. Using techniques such as drawing, cutting, sewing and embroidery, we will produce individual works on themes such as loss of home, arrival and family ties. Feel free to bring a private photo or a textile object and tell your own story – perhaps in connection with displacement, expulsion, emigration and life in a place that was initially foreign.
