The Yugoslav Wars are considered one of the greatest humanitarian disasters in Europe since World War II. The collapse of the multi-ethnic state led to nationalist tensions, ethnic expulsions, and widespread violence.
The tour sheds light on the background of the Srebrenica genocide and poses important questions: What does it mean to be unwanted in one’s homeland? How did refugees from former Yugoslavia experience their arrival in Germany?
